Show all your offers with just one marker on the maps of your choice.

Does this sound familiar? One exciting project here and another there. You would like to be there and be found with your great offers. It’s great if there are maps where your marker can be found. But it’s a shame that you have to register individually with each project and enter your details in order to be displayed on their map.

Enough! We provide you with your universal marker, which you can use to display yourself on maps of your choice.

Combinable maps

We don’t just offer the marketplace, i.e. a map on which everyone can show themselves. What makes us special are our customised maps for projects and topics, which can be combined with others as required. To do this, the desired maps are added as layers to your own map. This allows you to enrich your map with additional maps and the markers linked to them. On the marketplace, for example, the various categories such as actors, networkers and projects are integrated as maps. These can be shown or hidden by the visitor.

Sponsor

If you like it with us, you can enrich MarkerMap with your offers. In order to be able to register, you need a sponsor, someone who is already there and stands up for you. You can recognize people who are willing to do this by the green marker. We want active cooperation and trust right from the start. So get to know each other.

How many sponsors can i have?

To get a MarkerMap, you need at least one person who stands up for you and your offers and vice versa. But of course you can connect with as many people and projects as you like. The more sponsors you have, the more likely it is that visitors will contact you and use your services. This is because all sponsors appear on your map with their markers and vice versa. This inspires trust. The important thing for lasting sponsorships is that you keep your promises.

Decentralized network

Our markers and maps are currently managed centrally on a server by a team of admin. We are working with the WordPress plugin Maps Marker Pro. For now, we are happy to be able to start networking with this tool now. We organise the backup of the markers and maps decentrally. To this end, we are making the database publicly available for download.

Our vision

We would like to have an app with which everyone can create their own markers and maps and have their markers displayed on the maps of other participants. This still needs to be found or programmed. Similar decentralised apps, such as Element for the Matrix messenger network, can be found in the FediVerse.
